Cultural Affairs

The Lisbon group built around the practice of Alexandre Farto — Vhils: a studio, a gallery, a festival, a phygital gallery and a ceramics house, working with institutions, brands and cities.

Commotion — Council of the European Union, Brussels · 2021 · José Pando Lucas

We conceive, produce and deliver art-led programmes for institutions, brands and cities — one fifty-person team in Lisbon, from concept and permits to installation. The group exists to protect one practice; the same discipline carries every commission.

The model

Five platforms over one shared spine of production, curation, legal and logistics — around fifty people, based in Lisbon. A commission signed in Paris, Giza or Brussels is carried out by the same team that carved the first Lisbon walls, and one conversation reaches all five platforms.

Contact

One conversation reaches the whole house

A single conversation reaches all five platforms of the collective.
